Brendan Pratt, Ph.D., Co-Director

Psychological Evaluations (Ages 6 to 21)
Dr. Brendan Pratt is a licensed psychologist who specializes in psychological evaluations, educational advocacy, school placement decisions and parenting strategies. He assists with attention problems (ADD / ADHD), anxiety, depression, asperger's disorder, autism, oppositional behavior and learning disabilities (reading, writing and math). His comprehensive evaluations include a parent interview, school observation, comprehensive testing and a detailed report with practical advice for parents. Dr. Pratt received his doctorate in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology and completed a two-year post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology. He was previously on the Board of Directors of the California Psychological Association, and he is a past president of the Santa Clara County Psychological Association. Rebecca MurrayMetzger, Psy.D.

Dr. Rebecca MurrayMetzger specializes in evaluations of children, adolescents and young adults. She enables parents to better understand their child and empowers them to advocate for their child's needs. Areas of concern might include intelligence, academic skills, attention, depression, anxiety and social skills. Dr. MurrayMetzger completed a Doctor of Psychology degree at the Wright Institute, a program with full accreditation from the American Psychological Association (APA). She then completed an APA-approved internship at Franciscan Children's Hospital and a fellowship at the Neurodevelopmental Clinic of North Shore Children's Hospital, both in the Boston area. Christina Walker, Psy.D.

Psychotherapy with Children and Adolescents
Dr. Christina Walker is a licensed psychologist who specializes in psychotherapy with children, adolescents and families. With over ten years of experience, she has worked with children in clinics, schools and hospitals. Dr. Walker approaches psychotherapy in a collaborative and warm manner to understand each child's unique experience. She views psychotherapy as a dynamic and evolving process, much like children themselves. She utilizes a variety of interventions to meet the needs of the child, including talk and play therapies. She assists children coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, social skills issues, family transitions and parent-child relationship problems. Dr. Walker works to engage each child and family in the process of psychotherapy, and she gives compassionate and practical advice. She earned a Doctor of Psychology degree at University of Denver at a program with full accreditation from the American Psychological Association. Psychotherapy with Children, Couples and Families
Dr. Jennifer Penney is a licensed psychologist specializing in providing psychotherapy to families, couples and children. When working with families, she utilizes a supportive and collaborative approach aimed at establish ing healthy boundaries and power structures, addressing co-parenting difficulties and creating a more healthy family system. When working with couples, she uses an emotionally focused approach to enhance communication, re-establish trust and improve the emotional and physical connection of the couple. She also provides psychotherapy to children and adolescents utilizing a variety of techniques designed to address their unique challenges. Dr. Kathleen Hagino is a licensed psychologist specializing in individual psychotherapy with children, adolescents and young adults. She has expertise in both talk and play therapies, helping people to understand their feelings and work through difficult situations. Dr. Hagino has a gentle and compassionate manner that invites participation and promotes emotional growth. She offers a combination of approaches tailored for each individual. Having previously worked as a classroom teacher at both the K-12 and graduate school levels, Dr. Hagino has more than twenty years of experience working with children, adolescents and young adults. Ms. Kristen Will-Pratt specializes in cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy with late adolescents, adults and seniors. She holds a Master of Social Work from Rutgers University and a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary. She completed internships at Trenton State Hospital, Hamilton Community Guidance Clinic and Family Service Association of Mercer County. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the California Society for Clinical Social Work. With Ms. Will-Pratt, psychotherapy is an empowering, collaborative process that helps individuals lead happier and more meaningful lives.
